This is the personal web page of Dr. Patrick Chapman.

I am a full-time Associate Professor at the University of Illinois.  I am also a co-founder of SmartSpark Energy Systems, Inc. of Champaign, IL.  I do some freelance consulting and patent work in power electronics, electric drives, solar energy, electronic design, power management, electric machines and actuators, and related topics.
